Well today at Ulta I happened upon a new line of Calvin Klein makeup! Of course I had to try. So here is the deal. The lipsticks are either super sheer or colorful but still light and sheerish. There is no scent to this line. At all. Lipstick feels nice on and stayed well most of the day even with drinking and eating. Lipgloss is the same but seems to splatter out of the tube each time I open it. Have to be careful. The wand is flat and pivots with lots of flexibility. Very pleased with it. Definitely worth the try and love this pink for spring!

Holiday Mani with Essie Forever Yummy and Zoya Ziv
Love this manicure! I wore it to my work holiday party and even got a few compliments in low light! Easy peasy nail art. Basically I took the brush from the Zoya Ziv bottle and with very little on the brush itself, literally just came down at a right angle on the nail and used it like a stamp almost... Viola! Polka dots! On the ring fingers, I added in a few big pieces of red hexagonal glitter. Same concept. Very little on the brush and I strategically tried to "place" the glitter there.
Essie wore well and this is an awesome red. Good cool blue undertones, which I prefer in my reds, but still bright and merry! I love reds all year round but there is nothing more classic than a red nail around the holidays. A little glitz and glam here and there can't hurt either! It almost looks like little ornaments! Too cute!

Zoya Aurora Swatches
One of the prettiest glitters ever - and easy to remove. This one looks like it has super reflective shards of glass in it. Or multi-colored mirrors. It's dimensional, it's stunning, it's amazing and it kept shockin me over and over wherever I went and the light reflected a whole new set of awesome. :)
Zoya Aurora applied beautifully with two generous coats. The name reminds me of Princess Aurora a/k/a Sleeping Beauty since of course, I am The GlamourMom after all and well my life had a bunch of Disney in it. Lol. Either way, I think that princesses and common folk alike, will look dazzling in this amazing purple glitter. I even had some little fans who wanted in on the action as you will see one who is pictured below. :)
This color wore very well, for about 5 days without any significant chipping and there was no top coat. (I painted them at work, one hand at a time. Lol)
Don't miss this one. Will be awesome on toes too!

Zoya Blaze Swatches and Review
This is one of my favorite collections from Zoya. LOVE all their new holiday glitters - this is only the first one in the 4 I have. Zoya Blaze. Its a raspberry-hued red and it is PACKED with lots of multi-tonal microglitter that adds texture, dimension and brightness to every little part of your nails. I am loving all the different colors here and how it is different in all lighting. I added some large hexagonal red glitter to the ring fingers for an extra pop of red sparkle. Good fun! Don't miss out on these glitters this holiday season!

Jamberry Nail Stickers Review and Wear Test
Jamberry Nail Shields....
If you have not heard of these, you will. They are nail shields/stickers that you apply using the heat from a blow dryer. People sell them (like your next door neighbor could be a rep for them) and host Jamberry parties and demos. It is good fun for sure. I was a little skeptical at first with the application process since it was a bit more time consuming than other nail polish strips, but once I did the first one, it was not that bad. You just need a little time to get them all on, but there is no drying time, so it evens out in the end. It takes a bit to get them pliable enough to have real adherence qualities and you need clean, well dehydrated nails to start with. The nail shields come with instructions, but I will tell you this - its trial and error and once you do it once, you will be good. These lasted 14 days, even though I needed a serious manicure upgrade at the end - but - I could have kept wearing them. The nail I applied first did have some lifting on the edges due to my own inexperience in application and I overfiled the edge which made my nail a bit bare - it looks far more bare in the pics because of the closeup factor than it appeared from normal distance. I did not know how to do it as well on the first one, and after several days, it started to lift, but I left it alone and it stuck around just fine.
Removal was insanely easy. Just peeled off by the end of the two weeks. No big deal at all. Buffed nail bed after and I was good to go.
This is paired with Zoya Cho which totally impressed me with its 14 day wear! Two coats, with Seche Vite top coat. I picked a more "mannequin" shade to go with the nail shields because I knew I would try and go the whole two weeks, so I wanted to minimize the appearance of chipping over time.
Jamberry comes in LOTS of styles and color schemes to choose from. I don't think that I would don myself with 10 of these, but as an accent, it is super cute, impressive and long lasting. Definitely worth giving a try if you have the time to apply them. You can even do these on your toes, your kids...your kids' toes! The possibilities are really endless and there are so many fun ones to choose from. Right now, of course, there are holiday designs. Have fun with these and be artistic with your nails. :)
Here is my awesome rep:
